Black History Presentation

First Rising Mt. Zion Baptist Church will be hosting a black history month presentation about the 1961 Freedom Rides from the first hand perspective of those who participated in the civil right movement:  Freedom Riders Mr. Dion Diamond, Ms. Joan Mulholland and Rev. Reginald Green.  They will describe the struggle and discuss the price of freedom. There will be a Q&A session after the presentation.  First Rising is located at 602 N Street, N.W. D.C.  Rev. Reginald Green is the interim pastor.  This event is free and open to the public.
